Transportation: Atlanta is a major terminal for most airlines. All rental car services are available (often with weekend special rates). Rush hour runs on Friday from 3 PM - around 7 PM, avoiding that time period makes for a quicker trip across town. For shuttle service, when you exit the baggage area cross to the median and go to the ticket booth at ground transportation. The shuttle cost is $14.00 1-way- Do Not Buy a Round Trip Ticket- there may be changes in shuttle service. For the return trip to the airport Midtown Airport Shuttle at (404) 724-9335 will pick up a group returning at the same time Sunday after the show. Service hours are usually 6:00 AM to 11:30 PM from the airport with the return service from the hotel running from 5:15 AM to 8:15 PM. The MARTA transit line to Limbergh Station from the airport terminal for $1.75 is an alternative... from Limbergh Station you can call the hotel and they will pick up at the Station.

Services: Cat litter will be provided. Please bring your own cat food, dishes and litterpans. There will be a concession in the showhall offering "people" food. There is no smoking allowed in the building.

Entry: This is a non-vetted show. No veterinarian inspection will be required. All cats and kittens must be immunized against feline enteritis, rhinotracheitis, and calici virus at least 21 days prior to the show, and should test negative for feline leukemia and FIV. Cats with ear mites, fleas, fungus, or showing any signs of illness will not be permitted in the show hall. Any cat or kitten from a house or cattery where there has been fungus or any infectious or contagious illness within 21 days before the opening date of the show is ineligible for entry and/or exhibition. Any cat that is obviously pregnant or lactating will be disqualified. All claws (front and back) must be clipped before entering the show hall. Declawed cats are eligible for entry.

Registration: Except for Korats, all cats may be shown without registration, one time in TICA. To claim any wins or titles, the cat would have to be registered before its next show. TICA welcomes new exhibitors. Try a TICA show and then register your cat(s)! Registration forms can be obtained from TICA, P. O. Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551.

Kittens: All kittens entered for competition must be at least four (4) and not more than eight (8) calendar months old on the day of the show.

Benching: One adult or two kittens are allowed per single cage space. Each entry will be provided one cage. A single cage space measures 22" x 22" x 22". A double cage space(extra 1/2 cage) measures 22" x 44" x 22".

If you are bringing your own cage, please check the box on the summary sheet and note that if you are entering one cat you will need a double cage for the space required. All cages must be covered on three sides. For the cat's comfort, we recommend that you provide a rug and top cover as well. All cats and kittens present in the show hall must have an assigned cage. No kittens under three (3) months are allowed in the show hall. No cats may be confined to carriers, either displayed or under cages, during show hours. Any person disregarding this rule will be asked to leave the show hall.

Clerks: Please note on your summary sheet if you are interested in clerking. Do not deduct your clerking fee from your entry. Compensation is $30.00 per day plus lunch. You will be notified of your clerking assignment.
